What is Reiki?
Reiki is an ancient form of Energy Medicine originating in Japan, which offers a noninvasive way to balance and manipulate the energy body to bring about healing. There are many types of Reiki. I have studied Usui Reiki (a gentle, peaceful treatment) since the 1990s, and Karuna Reiki (an intense, uplifting healing experience) since 2013. I am a master in both Usui and Karuna traditions.
Reiki can help you heal a number of physical, spiritual and emotional conditions. Each session is tailored to your needs, whether your goals are decreasing anxiety or addressing headaches or tuning in to create changes in other physical or emotional pain.
Reiki treatments can be offered through touch or at a distance. The chakras, or wheels, are the primary divisions of the energy body.

Karuna Reiki
$120 for 60-minute session
Karuna Reiki is an energy healing and balancing treatment that calls in the recipient's angels, guides and Higher Selves for help and guidance. This is a more intense treatment than the gentle waves of Usui Reiki. Because the healing is more outer-directed, Karuna sessions can facilitate more immediate shifts than Usui Reiki treatments.
The session itself takes place while you are comfortably resting, fully clothed, on a delightfully cushioned massage table. You will feel my hands resting briefly in various positions. Most individuals experience a warming sensation, or waves of energy, while the energy body adjusts. Afterwards, you will feel perfectly rested and refreshed.
